EXPERIENCE

I have been shooting portraits since 2007 and weddings since 2012. I moved to NYC in 2021 and am most drawn to documentary, artsy, queer, editorial, film-focused subjects…however I’m down to shoot in any setting!

My film experience began in 2017 but has picked up quite a bit since I moved to NYC. I’ve shot most of my 2024 weddings with multiple film and digital cameras in tow.

My flash experience has primarily been with on-camera flash. I have operated off-camera flashes and studio lighting setups before but my experience has been few and far between. While I’m confident in my ability to figure them out in a pinch, I would feel most comfortable with some initial guidance if you’d like me to use them regularly throughout a day. I’m a quick study! Otherwise, I’m very comfortable shooting in low-light situations with high ISO.

I’ve shot for a wide variety of photographers with styles ranging from light and airy, traditional, documentary, funky, editorial, and dark and moody. I will adjust as necessary to whatever your needs are.

Digital bodies: Canon R6, Canon Mk 5D IV

Digital lenses: Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art, Canon 35mm f/1.4L, Canon 85mm f/2.8, Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L II

Film bodies: Pentax 67, Canon 1V, Canon EOS 3, Canon AE-1, Rollei 35s, Holga 120GCFN

Film lenses: SMC Pentax 75mm f/2.8 AL, SMC Pentax 105mm f/2.4

Other: External flashes for all Canon cameras. An assortment of filters and creative shoot-throughs. Dual card slots. Triple camera harness. Snacks (always snacks).

LOCATION

I’m located in Brooklyn Heights, NYC and I do not have a car. I typically take public transit or rideshares for the weddings that I shoot, however I do have a license and can drive a rental car if you’d like. I prefer staying within a 2 hour train/car ride from the city unless an overnight and/or travel is included.

ETHOS

I believe in shooting every wedding as if it were my own. Positive, calm, confident energy is my forte. I do my best to echo and reflect your vibe so that we’re a cohesive team.

I am punctual, professional, organized, communicative, and am confident taking on weddings no matter their size or style. I am comfortable shooting on my own throughout the day whenever necessary. I will always review your portfolio before working with you to ensure I understand your style and can replicate or compliment it to the best of my ability. I’m comfortable being given a lot of instruction or very little—whatever your directives are, I’m there for them. My goal is to meet your needs and capture what you need.

I will never share my contact info with your clients or vendors unless you give me specific permission to.

RATE

If I get to use the images for my portfolio, my baseline second shooting rate is $100/hr and my baseline associate shooting rate is $250/hr. If you’d like to keep all of the images that I shoot for your portfolio only, my second shooting rate is $150/hr and my associate shooting rate is $350/hr.

Of course, if I get to use them for my portfolio I will never use the client’s name and will always ensure proper credit is given!
